Anyone worth his salt in MY profession knows that the rumor of the win helped on an otherwise non-financial news day on Tuesday. The ADP unemployment reports of 157,000 more UE's in October fueled yesterday and Cisco's bad numbers effected today.

The economy is what it is now.

Obviously it's not Obama's fault but it is a clear commentary that they don't think The Chosen One will be able to click his fingers and fix everything as I think a lot of Obama voters mistakenly think. Regarding bad numbers, really bad numbers have already been factored in so alhough schmessy won't care what I think, I don't buy that argument because the numbers aren't worse than expected in general. Why are we going down ? We're in a trading range and the Monday close was up 20% from the low of the past week or two. We won't dip below that low of 8200 or so unless the numbers are even worse than expected but we won't go on a big rally until the numbers actually improve.

Actually, I DO care what you think. You, RW, SB42 and a few others offer up cogent arguments to back up your statements.
