More on the McCain/Palin Rifts...
Couple of articles that are beginning to look like throwing under the bus time, the target may be Caribou Barbie.. the first is an interview with Bill O and it is very concerning about her overall lack of political and geographical knowledge the second is a NYT article that will be dismissed by many..
Is this collateral damage?? One of the things read that struck me in the final days of the campaign, was that a blogger on the Straight Talk Express said the McCain folks were concerned about Palin, as either a "scripted robot or an unscriped ignoramus".. when history is written wonder if this will be the determining factor??

NYT: Rifts divided McCain, Palin camps - The New York Times
Quote:
As the ticketmate with a potentially brighter political future, Ms. Palin has more at stake going forward than Mr. McCain, whose aides now have an interest in blaming outside factors for their loss, making Ms. Palin a tempting target. And even as the votes from the election were still being counted, there were new recriminations, with Mr. McCain’s aides suggesting that a Palin aide had leaked damaging information about them to reporters.
The disputes between the campaigns centered in large part on the Republican National Committee’s $150,000 wardrobe for Ms. Palin and her family, but also on what McCain advisers considered Ms. Palin’s lack of preparation for her disastrous interview with Katie Couric of CBS News and her refusal to take advice from Mr. McCain’s campaign.
Ms. Palin, who had prepared for and survived an initial interview with Charles Gibson of ABC News, did not have the time or focus to prepare for Ms. Couric, the McCain advisers said. “She did not say, ‘I will not prepare,’ ” a McCain adviser said. “She just didn’t have a bandwidth to do a mock interview session the way we had prepared before. She was just overloaded.”
One of the last straws for the McCain advisers came just days before the election when news broke that Ms. Palin had taken a call made by Marc-Antoine Audette. Mr. Audette and his fellow comedian Sebastien Trudel are notorious for prank calls to celebrities and heads of state.

She spent 40-50 K on Todd. Some new clothes for her kids. The kids ended up wearing Gucci shoes. And of course spent the 150K+ on herself.

I've never seen obsession like this before. My goodness. People are totally obsessed with Sarah Palin, and it doesn't matter what diarea is spewed. So long as it's negative, it's Jim Baker'd all over the forum. Seriously, do we need 12 Sarah Palin threads over the same topic? I mean, I'm obsessed with Palin too, just not for the same reasons as the rest of you.

I've been thinking since BF asked about it and my response. I can't put a finger on it. Maybe that it is her arrigance ,her presumptivness that she (who has such limited ability) except to use her attractiveness and ability to speak in folksy terms would be able to handle being POTUS. And shes like the gift that keeps on giving demonstrating time and time again that she and the first dude were nothing more than a couple of Wasilla hill billies. Her accepting that job would be like me accepting the job as head of the national spellin bea.

What positive things has she done?
I love how the right wing pundits are rushing to slam the media and defend her. She cooked her own goose.
