Let's see, what did I mean.

I didn't mean I'm isolated from black people as we have a reasonable percentage of all races although I would guess whites are a higher percentage than average here. But living in a small town, and I hope I say this right, we don't have many "ghetto" attitudes. Whether white, black, hispanic or asian, we have a much higher percent of good parents who bring their kids up well so whatever race it is my kids are isolated from the "we're first now, you get in back of the line" stuff. Speaking specifically about the black kids, they are probably only 10% of our school population and they're no worse behaved than the other races nor would I expect them to have some attitude with yesterday's events. They're just kids. As I have said many times, I am 100% confident that black kids can be just as successful as any other race IF their parents take the parenting job seriously as they tend to here.
