Couple of snippets from today's newspapers..

Ayers shares polling place, not milkshake, with Obama -- chicagotribune.com

He said he had no contact with the Obama campaign. "That's not my world," he said.

The dishonest narrative is that guilt by association has some validity," Ayers said, saying the performance of the media was "kind of shameful."

You got that right.

For all the "pummeling" that precious Sir William says he got, he's still walking around free as a bird, still never served a day in prison for his admitted involvement in numerous bombings and plots against the United States government, and he even joked about it: "Guilty as sin, free as a bird, only in America."

On top of all that, here he is schmoozing around with his fellow citizens, still has the franchise to vote, just like nothing ever happened.

Maybe he's right: "only in America", but even America can endure only so much poison in its system; then it will die, killing the goose who laid the golden egg. I pray that never happens.
