You are wrong so "it won't matter". Typical.

I disagree that the consumers are the foundation.

As for them not having the cash, why is that? OH, that's right. It because they are all living beyond their means and are in debt up to their eyeballs. And, thanks to the Dems forcing the banks to give out sub-prime loans, now the government is having to step in when many of them defaulted. People don't have the money because they were stupid an signed stupid Adjustable Rate Mortgages and then didn't re-finance when they had the chance. And then they defaulted on them.

PF1996, you keep calling me a zombie, but, unlike you, I have a brain and I can think for myself.

As for NPR, get off your own lazy arse and go look it up. I am sure they keep transcripts of their radio shows somewhere.

Well, considering that you are the one who started the name calling, you really should (Please be quiet - edited). Let me know when you actually have some facts because you've not used any.

Ah, rightwing zombie....as I've explained before to your comrades, when you make a claim, the burden is on YOU to prove it. So let me know when you have a NPR transcript (from a nonrighty) to support your rightwing talking points of "kiss your 401k goodbye and everyone's taxes is going to go up".

Oh yeah, and I'll let you know when you have demonstrated that you "have a brain and can think" for yourself.

if we don't fix that the nation as you know it won't exist. we're in deep.

as i said before this isn't about the next year, or 4.... it's about survival

Why is there a trade deficit? Numerous reasons. ONE reason is that we drive corporations out of the United States into other countries because of the taxes that we levy on Corporations. Those taxes go right into the overhead and if consumers see the same product that was made in China or Japan and one that is made in the US, but the US one is more expensive, then it won't be bought.

Another reason that the trade deficit is awful is because, on the whole, there is no American Pride in the products that are made here in the United States. Toyota, Honda, and Nissan have pummelled Ford, Chevy and Dodge primarily because of the quality of product they produce is far superior.

Its happened the same way in many other industries.

A third reason is that the US companies style of management is backwards. Only in the United States would a company post loss after loss and the guys at the top stay on while tens of thousands of workers are laid off. In Japan, the CEO steps down. And that saves the company MORE money.

A fourth reason is the UNIONS. Too many of them don't want to settle for an honest day's pay for an honest day's work. But that is honestly tied into the 3rd reason. If their pay was more incentive based, as they are the ones who have more of a direct affect on consumer satisfaction, then they are much more likely to take pride in their work.

Now, it doesn't help that Japan and China tax the hell out of our products going over there. We should return the favor. You want to see the trade deficit go down. Make their products more expensive.

Typical lazy arse response. The burden of proof isn't on me. Personally, I don't give a flying ***** what your ignorant ass believes. You've proven yourself to be a moron on more than a few occasions. Its why you don't post in the football forums anymore.

Obama didn't MAKE people go out and vote. In fact, its looking like voter turn out is less or the same as 2004.

BTW, There weren't "ALOT" of Democratic Senators voted in. They won 5 seats. Whoopdeedooo..

Yes, I am afraid. I'm afraid that I am going to be stripped of my rights to bear arms. I am afraid that I am going to be stripped of my rights to protect my property. I am afraid that I am going to lose all the things that allow me to call myself an AMERICAN. All the things that millions of people have fought for.

Obama's message was a bunch of BS. Nothing he mentioned is going to IMPROVE this country. Far from it. THAT'S what I am afraid of.
Your in serious denial. DaBruinz, did a hockey puck hit you in the head? Obama is at 52% of the popular vote, 62,443,218 vs Bush's 62,028,285 for 50.7% in 2004. I believe the counting is still going on. The Democratic Senate has 56 seats and still counting, and somehow that's not a big deal? Did you also want to give your opinion on the House?
