I can't figure out if the lead (which is at lead 33% less than 10 points, btw, but clearly above the margin of error) is due to hatred of Republicans after Bush or if the country has finally tipped from a majority wanting to work for money to a country wanting to be given money.

We'll never know what would have happened without the bailout. However it wasn't bailing out millionaires, it was bailing out the financial system which we all need. Did we need to do it ? I don't know. But your description certainly isn't correct - of course, it was the Democrats in Congress who supported it more than Republicans anyway.

your right, we only had to remind AIG and other companies that if they take this money if give HUGE bonuses we will wag our finger at them...

The president is who wanted this, and signed it into law... he pushed it, his appointee wanted all power, the man in charge, the man who signs the law is the one who will ultimately bear the responsibility for it...

We don't say "the congress created the New Deal"...

Sure Bush's name is on it but he didn't do it himself. Don't lower yourself to suggest that he did. We all saw Harry and Nancy and their boys coming out of their midnight meeting thinking they'd saved the country.
