Gov. Sarah Palin met with a group of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s former supporters Tuesday evening at a special fund-raising reception organized for them on behalf of the Republican ticket.
The reception, which organizers said brought in more than $500,000, was part of an extended evening of fund-raising for Ms. Palin and Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign at the Grand Hyatt in New York that officials estimated raised more than $8 million.
There is no waaaay Hillary wants Obama to win.

Some of these posts are kind of like cartoon scenes.....I keep thinking of the cliff with one of the characters standing on air. Anyway, the CNN Electoral College map is currently showing Obama with 277 electoral votes. Not to say its over, but that fat lady just finished her cake.

Hillary knows she can almost surely never be president, so she has set her sights on becoming a Supreme Court Justice. Her sucking up to Obama, painful as the expression on her face betrays, is contemptible.
The scariest thing about Obama -- outside of his pledge to socialize medicine and expand government under his general left-wing ideology of Big Brotherism -- is an Obama presidency would probably nominate 3 Supreme Court Justices. Given his support for any and all kinds of abortions, and his attitude that government must be the social welfare state sponsor, his attitude that any two (or maybe more) can start a family, his Supreme nominees would almost surely reflect those same attitudes. Very frightening.

Keep in mind the prospect of 8 years under George W gave most democrats that same "frightening" feeling. With loss of constitutional freedoms, escalating war for reasons to be determined and the dismantling of presidential law.

That's your opinion, and I don't happen to share it. 9/11 was a game-changer, and I do not believe Al Gore would have handled it any better, nor do I believe John Kerry would have enhanced America's standing in the world -- in fact, he definitely would have diminished it.
No matter what you say about Bush, he nominated two of very qualified and non-partisan Justices to the Supreme Court, in John Roberts and Sam Alito.
As to the prospects of an Obama administration, I fear the likes of a Hillary Clinton, a Bill Clinton, an Al Gore, or even more ideologically partisan nominees. Not a pretty image at all.

Okay, guys, good start. On da teevee they basically said fear of Obama won't sell, so for the stretch run it's got to be fear of Dems in charge of Congress, the Senate, and the White House all at one time.
So everybody get out your New GOP Hymnal, and turn to page 4...
Ohhhhhh that's right. All of them in the hands of the other guys is how this country went down the tubes.
But that works!!! If Bush and a Republican Senate and House screwed things up, so will Obama and a Democratic Senate and House!
Nothing against Obama, he's the better candidate and all... but aren't you afraid of the trifecta?!??!?!?

Run along to study your lines, Foggy.
PFnV
If the "lines" were so meaningless, as you suggest, then you wouldn't be talking about them.
So, guess you're not as sure about "your guy" and "your party" as you wish you were.
Don't worry, no matter what happens in this election, the lines have been drawn and the threats to America have been noted. The American Revolution was won not by any majority -- the majority sat home -- and there were just as many loyalists to the British crown as there were patriots (hey, nice name), but everybody knows who won and why.
No one can kill God, nor the people who love God and His will. And I know without a doubt God's will is NOT some corrupt/corruptible government holding total control of the lives of all Americans, as the Dem socialist ideology believes.

Your argument is now that if people talk to you, they are afraid of your candidate. Come on quit it, yer killin me.
I'm bored. Most people on here are bored. I also go to that football RPG in the morning to see if anybody has said anything in a forum tracking a team that doesn't exist. Doesn't mean that I'm terrified of what they'll say, or whether my nonexistent team.
So, you can scratch that one too. If people respond to you, they could well be passing the time, or for that matter, deriving pleasure as the doomed right flops around collectively making that face a fish makes when he lands in the bottom of the boat.
