Default ACORN is Going To Help Shape the Presidential Agenda

From Obama's mouth to your ears...
The organization that is being investigated for fraud in many states...
The organization that is now part of a RICO investigation with Chicago power brokers...

YouTube - OBAMA CAUGHT SAYING ACORN AND FRIENDS WILL SHAPE HIS PRESIDENTIAL AGENDA

Quote:
"But let me say before I even get inaugerated, During the transistion we are going to be calling all of you in to help us shape the agenda. We are going to be having meetings all across the country with community organizations so that you have input into the agenda for the next presidency of the United States of America"
I'm excited ...

Anything that blames Acorn for the current economic issues are suspect.. with that being said what is wrong with bringing in groups that represent many diverse people to help shape the next agenda if elected??.. I would think you would want bring in many people to insure all of the american voices are heard.. Deepak worked for ACORN about 10 years ago... sometimes the devil is in the details..

The ACORN thing is simply an attempt by the right to create cover in the event they steal the election. The ACORN scandals involve people submitting registration cards with blantantly fraudulent info -- same handwriting, same signature, funny names, etc. This is not voter fraud but it is voter registration fraud. If ACORN was attempting to get fake registrations through, they would submit ones that were more plausible. Instead, a few rogue ACORN workers are trying to make a quick buck.

Nothing ... and the video i posted does not specifically say just ACORN. But an orginization that has no respect for the law has no business having any influence in the White House ... we need to up our standards after Bush ... not lower them to or below the level set by bush.

Aren't moderators supposed to be the example.

Patters ... when IAN posted about following forum rules ... as to copying and pasting articles ... he also said members here need to stay on topic. You as a moderator should follow that as much or more than anyone here. You have repeatedly hijacked threads ad nauseum lately ... let's stay on topic and let's force others to do the same.

"Acorn is going to help shape the presidential agenda is the title of this thread. The video is specific as one of the first black and white pages says ACORN, maybe it is that subliminal message Coke used to send out.. that is specific enough.. right now the standards of 1600 Penn ave is about as low as whale shyt.. cannot get any lower.. to sit with various folks of different views is a good thing, it does not say he will do anything except listen.

It is on topic, F.B.N. But, perhaps you don't understand what "on topic" means. It means, for example, that if you're calling ACORN corrupt, one can respond by pointing out the flaws in that argument. It's a shame you try to resort to such a lame accusation rather than try to defend the premise of your thread, which appears to be that Obama is conspiring with ACORN to do some harm. But, then again, your premise is merely a right-wing talking point, so it's understandably hard for you to defend.

That quote from your post does not address what I posted in this thread.

The topic of the thread is should an orginization that repeatedly breaks laws be allowed to have a voice in shaping Presidential policy.

Instead you write a post to defend ACORN ... they have already admitted to wrongs in more than a few states ... that is on record.
