I hope you all join me in silent prayer in hopes that our gracious federal gov't doesn't have the gall to bail out GM &/or Chrysler. That would just be more icing on a cake that tastes like sh1t with icing.

The more we bail out private corporations, the more we seal our fate of the fall of the American economic empire. Let us just keep rewarding LOUSY American companies that don't deserve a penny of our tax dollars while average Americans keep getting the shaft...and left holding the bill.

They'd have to think we'd be idiots to support such a proposal.

Just to clarigy the above, Cerberus Capital Management is a HOLDING company. Holding companies almost ALWAYS sell every company in which they own a majority share just to make a profit. If the gov't gives them money, all they'd be doing is helping Cerberus achieve their goal of selling GM for a profit.

I think they gave all 3 (Ford, Chrysler & GM) something like $30 billion 2 weeks ago. Now they are talking even more...a lot more

I don't feel bad for GM or Ford. My first 5 cars were either GM or Ford and they all became bleepboxes at around 70k. My last GM a 97 Chevy Blazer had a known transmission issue and GM never did a recall. I swore to never buy another. in 2003 I bought a brand new Hyundai, payed cash for it and they've been great. I feel bad for the employees of these companies (even though I think they are over compensated) but, the companies did it to themselves. And no we shouldn't bail them out. Companies like Hyundai are opening manufacturing plants in the US. So it's not as if all manufacturing jobs are being lost if they close.
