Not at all. What is totalitarian is when special interests censor what the entire population needs to hear, see, and know. What I said was that any members of the media who do not want to respect or honor America's Constitution -- NOT her government (big difference) -- should not be allowed to operate with America's protections.
//
And, by the way, HOW were those media outlets who dare criticize Bush/Cheney and the Iraqi adventure not "respecting or honoring the Constitution"?
You do realize that it is YOU who is not respecting the Constitution (or at least, the American one - - I haven't read the Lithuanian Constitution lately).

NO, talking about an edited clip of political satire and screaming conspiracy theory is beyond the ACTUAL SHIZZZ hitting the fan right now.
Believe you me, I am a conspiracy freak....but what you are posting isn't getting to the bottom of this economic crisis. You are talking about SNL and treating political satire as actual news. This is the problem with political Puditry as well...
listen.
You seem to be taking OPINION (funny, satire, and punditry) as fact. News is researched not regurgitated. I know you know.
.....plus Michelle Malkin says Rachel Ray is a keffiyah-wearing Al Qaeda sympathizer!!!!!!!

The thread is not about Cheney. We're talking about today, the crisis that's now in front of us. If Cheney is a part of that in a way that's relevant to this thread, then tell us how. Otherwise, you're just off topic.

How have I disrespected the US Constitution??

I never said anyone should pledge their loyalty to any party, Republican or Democrat, first or above the Constitution. Never.
Being faithful to the Constitution first and foremost is the only hope we have at this time, unless you think there's a better tomorrow in anarchy.
So, call me a "hypocrite" for standing for the Constitution. I can live with that.

If media don't want to respect the nation from which they enjoy -- now and at their birth -- their freedom to broadcast and send out their messages, then they should not be able to stay active in that nation. Duh. So, yes, indeed, if CNN or any other media outlet wants to use the freedoms, the safety and protection and electronic/broadcast/and other infrastructures afforded to them by the United States, then they most certainly DO owe a sense of allegiance to the U.S.A.
If they do not want to pledge allegiance and show respect to the US, they can go to Canada, Mexico, Russia, or China. Good riddance. America will be better off.

You have no clue.

You're not giving any clues, oh sparkling one. What exactly is your beef with what I said above??

My two under-9 year old children understand simple concepts better than you:

Once again, you NEVER mentioned the word "Constitution" in your previous posts in calling for media persons and their employers who don't support the Administration to "not be able to stay active in that nation" and be "booted out of America".
