Air America wasn't "moderate". Al Franken was the central personality, and he is far from "moderate". He is a left-wing ideologue.

The talk radio phenomenon is what it is precisely because all the major media outlets have been co-opted with a socialist, elitist, left-wing agenda. When you have a PBS in America that is staffed by the likes of a Bill Moyers, and tax-payers are funding it, this provides the ultimate in cover for the MSM to constantly pull to the left. And they do.
