People have accused Dennis Leary of getting his persona from Hicks. I just don't see it.
Yeah I've never really seen that either. I guess it's the whole giant disdain for the human race shtick, though with Hicks it's actually genuine. Leary did steal the "Asshole" song from Louis C.K. though and actually sent him a check with some royalties after it came out cuz he felt bad.
