I have zero confidence that any corporate or Federal transparency exists.
Can't say with any surety that the FDIC can handle this either

The country comes first , republicans voted against Pelosi ,not against the Bill in ITSELF.

Politics is a complex game , my friend.

Put your country first , stop the bickering against pelosi , she said something today ( about oversight) that many republicans voted against those words.
The state of this country is in bad shape.
Republicans fell in the trap !!!! Unfortunately.

I guess she didn't get the Michael Moore memo.

"No" votes came from both the Democratic and Republican sides of the aisle. More than two-thirds of Republicans and 40 percent of Democrats opposed the bill.
Republicans blamed Pelosi's scathing speech near the close of the debate — which attacked Bush's economic policies and a "right-wing ideology of anything goes, no supervision, no discipline, no regulation" of financial markets — for the vote's failure.

House ignores Bush, rejects $700B bailout bill - Yahoo! News

That's the story behind the "NO" today. They voted against Pelosi , not against the bill in itself.

One Republican guessed that maybe 12 people could have been converted had it not been for her speech. If Pelosi was so bent on getting it passed then she sure went about it the wrong way. She's more concerned with scoring political points Wes. It wouldn't suprise me if she purposely alienated as many republicans as she could to f it up. Now she gets to run her mouth, which is about the only thing she's any good at anyway.

take your pain now or take it ten fold 5 yeas from now.

you can't keep charging and charging and not earning it by producing anything.

all these corporate folks have scalped americans. lets do an audit of how much is actually in their american bank accounts versus overseas. this money is hidden. i liken it tot he nazis stealing art pieces.

it gets me so angry.

their needs to be a full investigation.

we have homeland security on terrorism.

we need homeland financial investigation.
