because I posted a senator calling out a fiscal conservative out on a socialist Bailout? Hmmm?

we often debate over what it means to be an american. In my humble opinion, its fighting the power, bucking the system, giving power to the people, and questioning authority.

I love this country because I CAN voice my opionion....and guess what?....I WILL!

I agree with you, I hate things, I hate liars, I hate greedy people, I have thiefs. I hate hypocrites, I hate the Jets, and yankees.

nothing in my post above is hateful, or out of bounds. It was merely a link to Bernie Sanders (I) VT speaking about a socialistic bailout. I agree with him. Saying I should spend time in Russia, China, and Cuba shows to me that the censorship-shut up and stay in line-crowd that currently circles the spin mahine are becoming few and far between.

take your hand off the mouse for a second.....think.....What is more american:

a) Shutting up when a tax comes your way that you had no part in creating?
b) throwing some fukcing Tea in a harbor?

"Hate" is a powerfully divisive emotion when applied to another human being. I don't hate the Yankees, but I LOVE beating them. Same for the Jets, Knicks, Rangers, and Icelanders. But I DO hate certain behaviors, like stealing, misusing or destroying love, sins against the Holy Spirit which are really unforgivable.

Sanders is a socialist ideologue. He thinks with his ideological compass, not with his rational mind ... just as they have been doing in the governments of those other places (China, Cuba, Russia) I mentioned. Seriously.

The Tea Party was non-violent (against people) protest of being taxed with no representation, and it was a daring, noble act. America's true purpose has always been to secure freedom, opportunity, and fairness for all people, even those outside of the U.S.. Socialism in its present form puts too much power in the hands of the few -- the elitist "experts" -- who then do not allow anyone to challenge them. Ie, Dictatorship.

Foggy, in all honesty bro...a lot of times you make no sense at all. Do YOU even know what you're trying to say?

Keep in mind that the VAST majority of Americans have been against this bailout...you could day we are violently against it.

The worst citizens of this great country are those who sit and cheer and salute everything America does as if God is guiding us to righteousness in every decision we make. Now THOSE people are the ones this country has no use for.

REAL Americans make sure our representatives policy is in our best interests, not the interests of corporate America. American politicians are for a fact, corrupt. I suggest you just look at the number of them who have been convicted of crimes or have resigned their offices rather than face prosecution. The list is long my brother.

So as our representatives in our federal government betray our trust, it is our duty to stand up and question what they are doing every step of the way. It is also our duty when we come upon citizens who cheer everything America does as great without questioning her, to give each of them a dope slap...

Gee, that's EXACTLY how I feel about people who keep putting the Kennedys, Kerrys, Bidens, Dodds, and all other Dems back into office. They need to be "dope"-slapped.

Now a GOOD debator would have commented directly to my post. But you have a right to believe as you do and it sounds like we agree on American rah-rah dumazz cheerleaders...da bums

You failed to address:

-rampant corruption in our federal gov'
-the duty of Americans to question our politicians
-the great history of Americans who hold America accountable

But I understand that you don't feel these issues deserve commentary. After all, they're not that important.

If I had the time I would debate you on the points, but after yesterday and this morning, alas, other duties in life are calling ... maybe someone else will show up for you to play with.

It seems that when the going gets tough, Fog skips out.
