Default Political rumors and gossip

Anything political that doesn't warrant a thread of its own, that you want to share but don't really believe (or don't want to discuss at length), can go in this thread. Of course, if you think that a rumor, even with a bad source, is true, you can post it below, but there are some rumors (McCain's alzheimer's and Obama's citizenship among them) that probably not even the poster particularly believes.

Can I start with a possibly stupid question about the Obama citizenship thing? OK, so he was born in Hawaii to a US citizen, so that qualifies him, but what about his time in Indonesia? If he became a citizen there, and they don't allow dual citizenship, would he have had to give up his US citizenship, and would that affect his eligibility? I'm sure the answer is no, that he is still fine, but I wanted to try and get an explanation on that point (what happens if you give up citizenship, or your parents give it up for you?) without adding to the already ridiculous threads out there.

Several blogs are saying that Cindy McCain has no real birth certificate ... it's a fake. She just suddenly appeared in Roswell?

Seriously ... if there were aliens light years ahead of our intelligence ... it all is very possible they could be among us.

Default I believe this story

This was posted in a liberal blog by a friend of the letter writer. I've always thought McCain was more dangerous than Bush, so I believe this letter is quite plausible:

> MY HOLIDAY WITH JOHN McCAIN

> It was just before John McCain's last run at the presidential

I believe Clinton missed and bombed an Aspirin factory in the Sudan.
