Default Chicago area jobless rate hits 7.5%

http://www.suntimes.com/business/112...082108.article

Quote:
The unemployment rate in the Chicago metropolitan area jumped to 7.5 percent in July from 5.4 percent a year earlier, and the area lost 2,700 jobs, the Illinois Department of Employment Security reported Thursday.
The higher rate followed a report last week that the state’s unemployment rate in July rose to 7.3 percent from 5.1 percent.
I have been looking for some links on what "Senator Obama" has done to help the Chicago unemployment problem since he became a senator and I can't find anything.

Does anyone have any links on what Obama has done to create jobs in Chicago?

Either my search engine is malfunctioning or he hasn't done anything.

He can't be held responsible. He's been on the road campaigning for the last 2 years.

Watch the movie, then get back to me.

I don't care if you slam me. I've still got a man crush on you for your posts lately.

Wow, unemployment is rising. We certainly need a change in direction. Vote Obama!

Let's look:

Arizona: 22nd at 4.6%
Alaska: 46th at 6.8%

Delaware: 16th 4.2%
Illinois: 46th at 6.8%

Not by much, but the Democratic candidates win.
