Default Fed To Take Over Mortgage Giants

In the largest bailout in the U.S. history, the government will bail out Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac at a cost of tens of billions of dollars to the taxpayers.
Oh its just another correction in the market, don't be alarmed.

saw this...

yes, everything is fine... you know, it's sad... all throughout 2003, '04, '05, '06 and '07, Con men everywhere were insisting the economy was strong, housing market was fine, unemployment rate fantastic... that the economy was the one thing no one could blame Bush for, he's done a "masterful job" with it...

"You're wrong," we warned them...

"You don't know what you're talking about, liberal."

oops...

Anyhoo... Great news here! ... In the meantime, buy metals, learn horticulture, and own a gun.

.

Every day in every way I like you better and better.

And lest you think I'm joking--I'm not.

I don't think the bailout is as bad as some might want it to be, but I don't disagree with the basic "buy metals and guns" theme. If anyone runs into a pricing pinch, get in touch--I know people.

And don't forget that for those guns you'll need a reloading press and bullets and primers and powder....or else a crap load of loaded rounds.

Me, I prefer to keep my powder dry. Never can tell when some of Patters' pals will take over and I'll need it.

We don't know for sure this is happening. So I'd advise caution. I bought several hundred shares of Freddie last week.

Even Cramer tonight at 6 had only heard rumors.

So...could we be responsible and wait?

I mean, except for the buying metals and guns bit. I'm always in favor of that!

Can I recommend Riley's on rte 3 NH for all you Mass guys....

Congress is loving this ... they will technically own your house.
The beginning of socialism happening right before your very eyes.
doesn't anyone see why Pelosi is so happy to bail everyone out?

how can it be socialism is the government does not even own the FED?

am I wrong? or is gov't lending money to the FED?

my major question is who makes up the FED and who is making money off the FED????

why do we pay interest on the national debt and we pay interest to the FED too. it's very bizarre. it's like a giant leech.

That's why I said wait until the details are announced. Even Cramer at 6PM didn't know details, only rumors.

So some guy posting rumors a couple of hours after that....

Even so, it's honestly enough to make me want to spend the weekend loading up, you know what I mean?

It might be good for the stock market. I don't like it one damn bit.

it's nothing to get mad about for anyone of us, we're just small pawns in this game and unfortunately the knights are overrunning the pawns.

we really need to take back our nation

when it comes down to it.... it's the wealthy controlling the poor. it's been like that for all of recorded history
