At noon I believe. Drudge is saying it's not Romney, it could be a woman. I think if McCain picks a White female he will win the election.

[edit] media reporting just before 11am that it's Palin.

Lots of specualtion on Palin who I like a lot. Interestingly her experience is almost identical to Obamy's (Governor not Senator but similar in length and standing both this job and previous).

Choosing Palin would win the election for McCain and seal the deal among voters who were Hillary lovers and who didn't want to vote Obama.

Interesting, John King confirmed it is not Mn. gov.
I do not think a woman secures it for McCain. The VP for both candidates has got to be strong to step in and take over. For both Presidential candidates, a stronger possibility exists for a VP to take over then anytime in the past.

It better not be Lieberman. Look at his actions the past 8 years, he is as hawkish as Cheney is when it comes to the Middle East.

I'm hoping for Palin at this point but my gut says he picks someone he's very comfortable with which would be Ridge or Lieberman

If he picks Lieberman he's retarded. If he picks Ridge he's really gambling. If he picks Palin we all know why. If he picks Romney he's going for the jugular. If he picks Pawlenty he's playing it safe.

Remember, Biden said it wasn't him, even as the secret service was rounding up his family. So a candidate telling us they're not the pick, is meaningless.
