I think he went there to make a scene. He didn't want to be recruited. I'm not defending him getting kicked out as he wasn't making that much of a scene bt he wasn't being kicked out because he was black.

In the other workshop the white guy is clearly ignorant. I hope he learned something but I have my doubts. Interesting that a black guy was the one getting the support from the audience and the white guy was being laughed at. Clearly he wasn't representative of that group. maybe that should be the headline.

The white right is not ready to take personal responsibility. After the last election, they feel even more cornered than they did before, so human nature is to retrench. There basic approach now is nonsense like calling themselves Frederick Douglass Republicans and finding a few token minorities to give prominent roles to.

In the Democratic Party, the rise of minorities has been mostly organic; in the Republican Party it is contrived; among conservatives it's artificial. The fact that CPAC isn't making powerful condemnations and booting more people out is proof of that.

Here's more from that disgraceful event, but it always strikes me as sad that the kneejerk reaction from this forum's conservatives is always the same--calling it race baiting, saying no one cares, etc.
