The state’s embattled welfare chief was forced to step down yesterday in the wake of a shocking internal report that found that a staggering 47,000 families receiving taxpayer-funded benefits are unaccounted for — and nearly $30 million in food stamp money went to recipients who were not eligible.

It's going on all over the country but you have to be very careful when talking about it, the stinking politician perverts don't want anything at all to do with it, if they say a couple of wrong words their career is over.

WE ARE SICK

Right...and it makes me wonder how many states have "wrong guys" running these programs.....maybe 5 or maybe 32...who knows. But we need to agree that we need to find out.

Maybe it's even happening over & over & over & over again.

Millions easily can become billions.

Yes...especially when you add in the corporate welfare fraud. And then there's the IRS fraud and the way the upper 1% get around paying taxes with deductions, which are perfectly legal but set up by their friends for them over the years.

You're right about the poor ripping off the welfare system- it's bad. You're wrong when you focus on them exclusively, though.

Wistah, the reality is that we'll probably be CUTTING corporate taxes, not increasing them. So I think the focus on entitlements is justified.

Wall Street Tells Washington: Cut Corporate Taxes in 2013

Wall Street Tells Washington: Cut Corporate Taxes in 2013 | Daily Ticker - Yahoo! Finance

If we want more jobs to stay in the US, we'll have to cut corp. taxes. Many Americans support eliminating corp taxes.

And if you read the original quote, it said

Quote:
$30 million in food stamp money went to recipients who were not eligible.
Which means these people weren't "Poor". By definition, if one qualifies for food stamps, they're poor. I'd prefer to focus upon those arseholes who pretend to be poor, wouldn't you?

Little frustrates me more than people who think subsidies to our poor should allow them to live like Americans who live on the average national income of $55k or so. No one should be subsidized up to middle class standards.

Nor should anyone's tax return be greater than the amount they paid.
