Default Amazing number of new applicants for a gun permit yesterday.

Usually when I renew my gun permit it is a half hour stop at the police station. They do it twice a month and there may be one or two people ahead
of you.

Yesterday my town had renewals from 12-8 & I stopped by at 2pm.
They told me there was a 3 1/2 hour wait, so I left my name and went back
at 5:00 pm.

When I finally got called at 7:15 p.m. the officer was delighted that I was a
renewal. He said that I was only the 4th renewal of the day. Everyone
else was a new applicant for either a FID card or licence to carry.

He said that he has never seen as many new applicants as he has seen
this year already.

No idea how many will be approved.

Obama, Feinstein, and the Progressives have put more guns on the street these past 2 months than all the gangs and illegal gun dealers combined.

If you tell them this they start stuttering, they are so hell bent on taking the law abiding citizens gun away from him that the stupid fools are arming the whole country, millions of women are now taking shooting lessons and carrying little guns in their handbags.

Attention Scumsuckers:
Be careful who you attack or rob you may wind up with a bullet in your face.

Attention Good Guy:
Make sure they're dead so they can't sue you.

and that makes you happy??? More guns equals more gun deaths. Some will be self defense but most will not be. Lots of sad stories in this article.

U.S. Gun Deaths Since Sandy Hook Top 1,280

WASHINGTON -- It was Christmas night when Sincere Smith, 2, found his father’s loaded gun on the living room table of their Conway, S.C., mobile home. It took just a second for Smith’s tiny hands to find the trigger and pull. A single bullet ripped into his upper right chest and out his back.

His father, Rondell Smith, said he had turned away to call Sincere’s mother, who had left to visit a friend. His back was turned to the toddler, he said, for just that moment.

Two weeks earlier, Smith had bought a .38-caliber handgun to protect his family after bandits had tried to break into their home. He doesn’t know what to say about the national gun-control debate. He just wants that lost second back. “I would say, man, keep them out of your house,” he offered. “It’s just. Boy. All it takes is a second. Just a second to turn your head. I don’t know, sir.”

And for others it is the Constitutional Right to have one and the hope that you never ever have to use it outside of the shooting range or when hunting or skeet shooting......

FWIW we have all seen the photo of the President "skeet shooting". If you have ever gone skeet shooting, the clay target is launched upward and you attempt to shoot it.... If you weapon is aimed parallel to the ground,( as in the photo) you will NEVER hit the target...
Just saying

Been skeet shooting and the target is usually left to right or right to left, and at one point the tragectory is eye level.. so there is no problem with the picture, if he did it at a higher angle there would still be a problem for many, then they would say he should have done it at eye level...

Do you have proof of this? More legally purchased guns will result in more murders? (Self defense is just fine with me).
