I honestly don't care about "fault" at this point. But if I was looking to blame anyone, I'd actually have a difficult time because so many people contributed to this. And the average American is on that list in the form of greed.
Americans are so in love with the idea of wealth, we jump on any chance for short-term gains. Let us hope economic troubles last a little longer to ensure Americans learned their lesson.
I've seen enough greed in my lifetime.

ahahahahahaha, learn their lesson...lol....good luck.
It's only going to get worse from a societal pov, before it gets better. There are more and more takers every day. Not only are there more and more as we move forward, but we have a government that is fueling the malaise. We're at a point where the takers, when added to the dellusional (you know who those people are), already account for over 50% of the vote. So don't expect any sensible relief there. The only thing that will right our sinking ship, is a Greek like collapse.
One thing I do wonder about, is when we do implode from the magnitude of our own debt, who will it be that rises up, or riots. Will it be the working class, who will be again asked to, and is tired of, paying the freight, or will it be the deadbeats who will no longer be getting their free and/or subsidized ****? Either way, someone won't be happy when we reach that point.

SEQUESTER is coming March 1st.
Obama thought he owned Boehner but Boehner owned Obama ...
As Jigsaw says ... "I Want to play a game"?
If the GOP flinches it's business as usual .. if they hold firm it's budget cutting time automatically.

False choice, Icy, but it's all the rage. Carry on. In fact, I believe somewhere in here your brother in gloom PR fessed up to knowing that "debt" is absolutely the wrong problem to worry about now. Growth is what we should be worried about now.
If anything, this month's tenth of a percent contraction should be a wakeup call about this foolish European-style austerity fad.

I have to somehow make up the gap between us PR, after all, you have the Nobel Prizes of your profession (no doubt presented at the Stockholm of your profession, a Best Western on 128.)
