Apparently the pubbies have learned that when your goal is to win a "minority's" vote, it's best not to tell them to "self-deport." Or, in your so hyperbolic formulation, Harry, it looks like our pubbie friends are learning to "gush over" minorities. Peculiar way to put it, I must say.
Please, Harry, please become a leading figure in the RNC? They're showing signs of getting it, and if anybody can nip that in the bud, it's you.

Krugman's on your side on this one, PR He said we have "Depression like conditions," which is right there with your mantra. I don't think we do. I also know we aren't in a recession, which is your lie. I don't see any direct Krugman quote on the subject, I just see Yahoo finance saying it, as if to say "hmmm if he thinks conditions are depression-like, he must think we're in a recession." I'm pretty sure he knows better than to say we're in a recession, but shame on him if he's disingenuous enough to pretend not to.
I agree with Krugman that we have to eventually deal with debt. I also agree with him that now is not the time to be nutso about debt, and I agree with him that stimulus has been what's always gotten us out of downturns, and furthermore, that withdrawing stimulus too soon was the biggest mistake FDR made vis a vis the Great Depression. Obviously, from your new-found embrace of all things Krugman, you must think so as well
BTW, doesn't much matter. When I see your Nobel Prize for Vitamin Sales or whatevah, I'll get really worried that Krugman can't keep up with you.
