Dear Aqua4ever04,

I am a huge Patriots fan and have been most of my life. I have followed them passionately since 1975. There were some seriously bad years along with many good years. Whether they were good or bad I have never had a blind faith. I have never thought "no matter what they do the Pats always make the right decisions". I didn't agree with how the Deion Branch saga was handled. I also didn't agree with how the team handled John Hannah when he held out in the 70's.

My question to you is can you be an objective fan of the Miami Dolphins? There is no question you are passionate and that is great. I have been on finheaven and you know your stuff.

I think the Dolphins have made serious mistakes since 2001. Can you criticize your own team? Even writers Dan LeBartard and Greg Cote who is a very passionate dolphin fan criticize them.

The Pats have always struggled with the Dolphins and I have always feared them. I respect them. Do you respect what the Patriots have accomplished and see them as rivals?

You are a very intelligent fan. Why do you take shots at Pats fans? There is no reason for it. Why not say your thoughts without turning them into a pissing contest.

Trust me I would like to know your thoughts on the Dolphins and the Pats. Let's discuss the teams and forget the bantering with Pats fans.

I am not taking shots at Aqua4ever04. I am certainly not taking shot at Pats fans either. That makes no sense.

I apologize for not reading every single one of his threads. I will only say he has taken many shots at the Pats without taking many shots at his own team. I am not about talking smack.

I am about talking football.

Maybe calling him an intelligent fan was not the right choice of words. Maybe well informed fan of his own team would be a better description.

I want to see if he thinks the Dolphins make any mistakes or if he has complete blind faith.

I have read his posts from last year. That is why I wrote this post.

I love the Pats. I really am sick and tired of smack talk and just want to talk football.
