I have gone over to the Jets Boards to sample the insanities there, one again. Whenever you need a merriment lift, seeing what their miserable down-trodden guys are thinking is a comedic moment and an adventurous way to visit Martians.

There was a debate on how to acquire Cutler. Somehow they seem to think that since they don't have a QB that the Browns will gladly donate a QB to Denver in return for which Denver wil send them Cutler. Why Mangini would remove his own QB I don't know.. I certainly think he must feel a lot of love for the Jets and would do so out of the magnanimity of his own heart.

Its just fun to laugh at that "solution" to a JEST self-created QB quandary.

Then there is another whole set of threads discussing trading for another QB. A trade of Ben Roethlisberger from ther Steelers for their CB Darelle Revis has been debated earnestly.

As if the world champs would dump their starting QB for any CB,when their best backup is Charlie Batch has never seemed to occur to them. What kind of dream land do these fools dwell in? Why would Pittsburgh hand over a two time Super Bowl QB for even quartet of Darelle Revises? But some earnest JEST fans actually oppose the hypothetical trade on the grounds that Revis is too valuable !?!

Relax man, it's the offseason, there's not much to talk about besides dream scenarios. The Bills boards are full of the same thing. Trading Edwards and our #1 for Cutler is still being debated.

Why is it that the fans of the other 31 NFL teams are relentlessly mocked on this message board? As if the Patriots and their fans can do no wrong.

Fans of division rivals are mocked relentlessly on just about every team message board I've ever seen. Doesn't change the fact that it's kinda lame, but it's definitely not true that this is unique to Patsfans. Besides, Jets fans are a special kind of stupid.

The fans of the other 31 teams are relentlessly mocked when they post stupid posts. It's not the fault of Patriots fans that there are so many clowns on the message boards of opponents (You should read some of the Denver boards regarding the McDaniels/Cutler situation if you want to see sheer idiocy). The fans of this team are also relentlessly mocked when they do the same thing. Feel free to take a gander at the "trade Brady" thread if you'd like some evidence that we are equal opportunity mockers here.

Ya know - The next time someone brings up trading Cutler for your current QB and a #1 - Ask that idiot what Cutler's W/L record is and exactly how many games he's won in the post season - or even better, how many games he's PLAYED in the post season.

You might just surprise someone.

Oh yea, and then remind them they he plays against Oakland and KC twice a year.

I don't think Cutler is all that great and I agree with everything you say. I'm a huge fan of Trent Edwards and would like to see him flourish and take a leadership role in the locker room. To see him traded off like that would be the most ridiculous thing the Bills organization could ever do.

What is the world coming too when fans of other teams come here and cry when we joke about other teams ? For crying out loud people, we're football fans ! Pretty soon, you won't be able to wear your teams jerseys to home games because you might offend an opponent's fan sitting at home watching the game.

I come here to debate football with an opposing teams fan base. I don't troll the boards and pick out a thread and then go back to the Bills message boards and call you guys names and tell people are stupid you are because you have an opinion or idea that's different from mine. That's something a 12 year old would do. On the flip side of that, everyone on here seems pretty knowledgeable and has a good history and understanding about what they're talking about. A breath of fresh air really.
