Default Dawn of the Deaderick

Anyone notice how, after a Witness Priotection Program-like first part of the season (reportedly due to nagging injuries), Brandon Deaderick has been getting in more and more and really doing a nice job against the run lately?

Perhaps the late reinforcement call to Gerard Warren may not have to be made after all.

The thread title alone is worth a like.

With Cunningham's suspension it has opened up some reps for Deaderick and he is doing a pretty good job with the opportunities he is getting.

Always liked him. Was kind of surprised by his reduced role this year.

Certainly offers more versatility. He was effective in a pass rushing package last year with Anderson and Carter and Love isn't going to give you that. Height too.

Didn't get activated from PUP? Gone for this year anyway.

From what I remember, he was ready to come off of PUP then had a setback in practice.

I like him too, great motor.

To make this thread title more hip (the word hip, has never been, hip) and up to date, how about "The Walking Deadrick" ? Love that show.

A for effort but I think the OPs title is more aptly named as we are talking about Deadrick finnally emerging like a Dawn.

I think it has a lot to do with Love being banged up as well. I have felt obviously like the OP that Deadrick has stepped up his game nicely but I am a huge fan of Love and it will be interesting to see how the play time is distributed when Love gets healthy and when the playoffs role around. Either way it is nice to have both playing well.
