There should be no discussion right now. Brady shredded the supposedly better D head to head. He is better in every statistical way. Operates a better offense, Von Miller - you know that guy in the running for DPOY.

Look, Peyton is great, and I don't want to take anything away from the guy. It's honestly great to have him back and be having this discussion, as much as it sickens me that he'll win the award by default unless Brady runs the table and steamrolls two of the best defenses in the league this month.
Having said that, I am not a believer in the Broncos as a team as of yet.
They've played three good teams (NE, HOU, ATL), and not only did they lose to all of them, but in the first 3 quarters of each game, they were outscored a combined 89-32.
I could be wrong, but I think this will catch up to that team at some point.

Brady’s incredible effort is even more remarkable if you look at Cold, Hard Football Facts Real Quarterback Rating, which measures all aspects of quarterback play, not just passing.
Brady and the Patriots are No. 1 in Real Quarterback Rating, with 27 total TDs by Brady (24 passing, 3 rushing) and just three total turnovers (3 INTs, 0 fumbles). Every other team has suffered at least eight turnovers out of the QB position this year. The Patriots have suffered three.
That ratio of 9:1 TDs-to-turnovers is the best in any season in NFL history. The Patriots are also on pace to score 592 points, which would be the most in NFL history.
In a sport in which winning the turnover battle typically means winning the game, Brady gives the Patriots an advantage every single Sunday.
So we have a record performance in turnovers this year, while leading a team that might set a record for points scored. If that doesn’t make you an MVP, we’re not sure what does.
I think it should be more in Brady's favor than everyone on sports networks are making it out to be (but I'm glad people are finally at least mentioning Brady). He leads the #1 offense in the NFL who averages the most points per game in history with injured receivers all season. Gronk, Hernandez, and Edelman missing games, Welker and Lloyd beat up during games. Peyton has 26 passing TD's, 0 rushing TD's, Broncos running backs have 6 rushing TD's. Brady has 24 passing TD's, 3 rushing TD's, Patriots running backs have 18(!) rushing TD's. Brady 3 interceptions, Manning 8 interceptions. People talk about how easy the AFC East is? AFC West is just as bad. The only thing that is giving people reason to vote for Manning over Brady is bc he just came back from injury which is lame - there's a separate award for that. Plus Manning has got to face the Patriots and the Saints defense this season, imagine if Brady got to face them! Lol. Broncos have the 4th defense in the NFL, Patriots 27th.

A rare article that gives both players their just due and not just Peyton!
Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are turning in vintage performances in a vintage year, as they have in so many other seasons. Only this time it feels unique, more unexpected, with each player that much further along in his career.
In the twilights of their careers, Brady and Manning are giving football and their followers career years. No one would be surprised if it resulted in one more postseason matchup, one more chance for these men to cement their legacy as two of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history...
