Default Running Backs

I really like this running back group, especially now that Vereen is back. Bolden Ridley, Vereen, Woodhead and next year adding Demps is probably one of the youngest RB corps in the league, and with the exception of Demps, all have shown that they are capable in the NFL. I know it is only Vereen's first time with significant starts, but I think he has proved that he deserves additional time on the field. I really like how the team got aggressive
adding young talented TE's and now RB's, and a young talented QB waiting in the wings for the inevitable unspeakable.

Like I said in the other thread, I wasn't too impressed with Vereen today. Even though the #'s were good and he did take what the D gave to him, I didn't see the explosiveness I was expecting from him. That said, it is ncie to see him out there finally getting touches and I expect improvement if he hopefully gets more experience. I still see a significant dropoff from Ridley to him, one that I don't see from Ridley to Bolden (if one exists at all). Bolden's looked really good as the #2.

Woodhead's a pretty steady back who has been very relaible for us other than one KR in the AFCC. Solid 3rd down back.

Ridley has seemed like the real deal thus far, let's see if he keeps it up though. Last couple games he's been quieted but hopefully he can break off a big game within the next couple games.

Vereen looked natural catching passes and had a better YPC than Ridley.

This group of RBs is going to make it really easy on whoever Brady's successor is.

Don't kow what game you were watching. Superb in blitz pick up too which is going to be required of him.

It was a very performance and he answered questions such as can he pick up enough of the offence to be a factor in the no huddle.

i thought Vereen look more than handy. Not to geet him out there next week and into the rotation as a dependable piece.

Looks like Bolden will be sideline for a few weeks.

Every running back will look better with more touches on the ball. It's like acting: you can rehearse and practice all you like, but you can't hone your craft unless you're on stage live, or working before the cameras.

With more on-field action, Vereen will get better.

I also am pretty excited about this stable of running backs we've accumulated. If they can, overall, stay healthy, we'll have a solid group for several years.
