Any performance is a team game. I was happy with what little I saw from Bolden in pre-season, but again, I only saw a little, and the negative posts about him casts doubt whether I saw enough.

He seems like he has good vision, cuts North/South when he needs to. I'm a worry wort about ball security, so I pick on his ~slightly~ lose handling of the ball. But overall, I think he's performs the way he should. Give him a hole, and he'll go through. I think he has some quickness to the line, which is good. One run in the Bills game showed some hesistance in the second level, but for an undrafted FA, I'm happy.

What type of blocking scheme was the Oline using?

I know they brought a TE in and some linemen shifting. Definitely some form of zone-Wham blocking scheme, but it was definitely having results.

The biggest plus, is we have a running game that needs to be respected. That opens up more play action and less wear and tear on Brady. A Healthy Brady gives us much bettre odds in the post season.

I would love to see Bolden/Ridley combo again against Denver next week. Especially with Mankins back. This could be something special.

Agreed...the line has been opening HUGE holes all day. I'm glad he got the yardage, but i don't think he was that impressive save for that TD run where he just DROVE gilmore into the endzone. Ridley is still the more explosive runner. Kind of disappointed we didn't get to see more of him, but great offensive day for the line.

Its one thing to commend the RBs for havnig a great day, but don't forget that the were more times than not that the RB wasn't touched unntil he reached the 2ndary. They BOTH damned well better have gotten 100 yds rushing this game.

Great day all around, but i think the line had more to do with it. Always good to see production out of our young players, but i was personally more impressed with ridley. Hard to nit-pick the ground game though after a day like today. :-)

What Florida and Alabama is to the Pats offense/defense, Ole Miss is to the Pats RB corp. Both time the Pats have gone there, it looks like they've struck gold. Ole Miss is the unofficial supplier of RBs to the Patriots, albeit undrafted.

bolden looked undersized during preseason, but boy did he breakout today. big kudos to the TD run he had running over the defender and carrying him into the endzone. this team needs a running game that other teams wil have to plan to defend against.
scout and Patsfanin Philly like this.

Ridley is special. He emulates Emmitt Smith with more then just his number.

Bolden is much more explosive then I expected though.

Biggest loser of the day Shane Vereen.
