particularly for guys who likely have some skills to latch on somewhere.

Chances are that the Patriots will make room for at least one guy who was cut, at least in past years that has been the norm, if not for the roster than at least for the practice squad.

1st thought: ex-Rhodes scholar and Steelers cut Myron Rolle (goal: be a neurosurgeon) is likely to latch on in med school.

A sarcastic Bill Belichick on Tom Brady's finger injury, "It's not life threatening."

When some kicker somewhere botches a FG in week 1 or 2, Cundiff will have a job. Look at his touchback percentage and accuracy inside 50 yards. He seems to have been vilified for one playoff miss that was far far outside of the norm for him.

with the number they will be kicking (instead of TDs) they might need to have 2 or 3 kickers on the roster.

This is going to be a pretty thin thread for this week. Think about it. One of the most interesting cuts so far is Dante' Stallworth? Slim pickings for a while, boys

SB starter Remi Ayodele (DT, Saints...) who originally was signed as an undrafted feller by the Pats was cut...

He is likely a casualty of the fact that the Ravens don't have a lot of breathing room with regard to the salary cap and found a viable alternative in a rookie Justin Tucker.
