Moderators: This is just a throw away joke but I can't find the Jeremy Ebert thread - if it exists. Please feel free to move this if there is another thread.

While I'm not crazy we used a pick on offense, I give Ebert a thumbs up.

(Explanation: I think his name is pronounced much like film critic Roger Ebert who used to give movies a thumbs up or down.)

We should be worried if an AFC East team finds a defensive back named Siskel. . . .

Not sure what was worse the lame joke or the need to explain it. Usually the saying goes if you have to explain it its not funny but this wasnt funny to begin with and I am now dumber for having opened this thread.

Jeeze, he was 2 months old when I graduated HS.

I felt the same way when I realized that Gene Siskel died so long ago I better explain the joke for the kiddies here. (Kiddies = people younger than me.

)

BTW, the problem with naps is you feel so stiff when you wake up.
