Default The Road to Training Camp

Hey peeps,

This is the most exciting off-season i've ever been apart of, even more exciting than 07 (for me). I've never been to training camp but i MUST go this year. Can someone with experience help me figure out what I need? Tickets? Price? Parking? Hours? Food? Binoculars?

I live in Philly but I can crash at a friend's place in Boston. I used to live in Cambridge.

Thanks!

I usually go about 2, maybe 3 times a year.

Tickets? Not used/required except the one in stadium practice.

Price? Free

Parking? Free

Hours? Posted on the Pats website a day or two in advance, but it's always a good idea to call that day to see if practice has been canceled or moved inside (no public allowed at indoor practice). Usually around 8:30-10:30am, then 1:30-3:30pm-ish

Food? They sell it, but it is very expensive. you are allowed to bring your own food and beverages. I do not think alcohol is allowed, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Binoculars? No problem.

Cameras are still shots only, no video footage allowed.

Hope this helps!

Training camp is free, as is parking.

Binoculars are not a bad idea.

There are concessions but you would be well advised to bring water, sunscreen, etc. - but coolers are not allowed.

Regular cameras are okay but video cameras are not.

More info available here; enjoy!
