Default Mallet working hard

Ryan Mallett waiting for his chance with Patriots - The Boston Globe

Little bit of good news this morning. The kid has strong work ethic and "had an excellent year".

He's the future of your franchise. While he might not take Brady's job this year, he'll have it the following one. The kid does look skinny though.

Eli will never be as good as Brady is now.

NEVER.

Sounds like, from your repeated posts, you're hoping against hope that Brady will leave the game.

We have to be patient. Remember Aaron Rodgers did not play until his 4th season.

Sorry to tell you, but he already is. Eli is clutch.

If I were the Pats, I might look at dealing Brady. This is when you could probably get something for him. At least a #1.

Let us all thank God that you are not the Pats, then.

BB will know when the time is right. The Packers might have stuck with Favre a few years too long, but my guess is that Mallet is not ready after only one season.

In BB we trust.

Giants fan - get lost.

Regarding Mallett, I really like him and I think he could either be the successor to Brady or bring significant return in a trade as long as he keeps his nose clean which he appears to be doing.

I think Mallett is "ready" as young QB go - obviously not for us having Brady but with the offense Mallett played in at Arky and now a year under his belt he'd be ready if he were on a rebuilding team.
