Default Unit vs. unit

The Giants' QB and receivers, taken together, are pretty good. The Pats', not so much.

The same, of course, goes the other way around.

The Giants' D-line and the Pats' O-line are both excellent units. Unfortunately, recent history has the Giants' unit on a streak in that one.

There's another thread on the Pats' DL and LBs vs. the Giants' OL. That one may not be pretty for the Giants.

The RBs on either side seem likely to get about what the OL achieves for them.

When you frame it that way, it seems clear why most people are expecting a pretty even matchup ...

Woke up this morning thinking about the O Line (I really do need a life) and what came to mind how good this unit is, these guys are probably the best group that have ever seen in a Patriots Uniform.

No matter who starts at RT, Vollmer or Solder, the odd man out is a very credible back up.. also Cannon, Wendell seem to be able to fill in. With Scarnechhia at the helm of this crew, anticipate that they will hold their own.

As a group they have been maligned as we have heard over and over this week about the G-men front four... think we will be able neutralize this pass rush.

If it's not the best Pats O-line, it's close.
