Default The Hot Team

2011 UConn Huskys
2011 Boston Bruins
2007 New York Giants

And now the 2011 Patriots. We may not be the underdogs the above were but we're every bit as hot. Haven't lost in months. In any single elimination tournament the hot team is always the scariest one.

There is no answer in the league for the Welker / Gronk / Hernandez trio. Brady is playing great. Yesterday was the first time we saw a complete 60 minute effort from both sides of the ball. #4 is soooo close

If the Pats win the AFCC in similar fashion to last night, I would say they are WHITE hot.

Meh. 2009 Saints lost their last 3 games and went on to win the SB. Colts lost their last two.

2006 Colts went 3-4 in their last 7 games and they won the SB.

It doesn't hurt to finish the reg season strong but it's not a deciding factor.

Being a very good team, getting a good match-up and having confidence in what you are doing are more deciding factors for playoff success.
