So tonight on ESPN they aired a segment on the Patriots 2008 Training Camp. Of course they bring up the SB loss and compare the Pats to the Bruins in how they cannot win...
Then of course, like on queue, they bring up Spygate...and the waste of that 10 month fiasco.
Then they go on to the segment of a few players giving their insight into what they are feeling and how they all have moved on....
It seems to me that ESPN will never let go of last season. I know it was hard on a lot of fans but from what I have been reading recently, we are all looking forward to this upcoming season and cannot wait to see our team kick some *****.
GO PATS....

did you also notice that when they were doing the piece on Rod Smith's retirement they were showing clips of Smith making catches and scoring TDs against the patriots and no other team? Can't stand trey dingo.

"He’s the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. He goes from being a rookie that nobody is expecting anything from, to taking over with people saying he can’t do it, to winning three Super Bowls....It should already be obvious he’s the greatest quarterback to ever have played. "
Yup....we are their Trump card. Whenever its a slow sports news day, they pull something up about us and air it like its new.....god i hate these people....

LOVE New England sports....10 years SEVEN championships!!!
I hate to say this, but most of the national media covering the pats camp will probably focus on two things - 1.) the Super Bowl loss and whether the Pats can rebound and 2.) Spygate. If you just accept it, it will make your life easier. Even the theme with the local media today was how the players felt about rebounding from the Super Bowl loss.
Also, ESPN is famous for when they are showing a clip of a player only taking clips from one game. It is either they are lazy or don't want to pay the NFL for licensing clips from multiple games. That means it could be just dumb luck they chose the Pats game or that was the game they could find the fastest with the most highlight worthy clips of Rod Smith.
As much as I would love to bash ESPN, I don't know if there is much of a case here to talk about their outright bias vs. the Pats.

You can start by dropping the "embrace the hate" nonsense, because that just perpetuates what we all want to just go away. I, for one, am going to have little patience for any mention of "spygate" and associated crapola from last year. This is a new season and a new team.
I did not see it but it sounds like a good example of why I do not watch espn anymore. I made the mistake a few weeks ago of watching a little sportscenter as I was flipping around and they were going to break talking about an nfl preview and as they go to break they showed a clip of a fan holding up an 18-1 sign. I was reminded why I gave up on that awful network. It has been years since epsn was worth a damn, but now it is a total joke of a network. Tom Brady made my whole week when he ripped them in that interview a while back, telling espn exactly what they are. BB was also right to stick it to Tom Jackson in Jan 04. f*** espn

The only time ... and the absolute only time I watch ESPN is when they have a sporting event ... otherwise ... what a waste of time ... it's all about the $$$ ... it's the MTV for sporting nerds & goobs.
