Default Pats fan from New Zealand seeking help w/ Bills game

This was over in the tailgate meet-ups section but I'm guessing very few here see that sub-forum. Is there anybody here that's going to the New Year's Day game against Buffalo that would care to help this Pats fan out? They're willing to take the train if they have to, but would prefer to share a ride and will help out with expenses.

Pats fan from New Zealand going to first game Jan 1
I'm just going to come right out and ask.... is there anyone that can help me get to the game on the 1st? I fly in to Boston from New Zealand on the 29th and purchased a ticket to the game before realizing it was so difficult to get to the game! I was going to purchase a train ticket online but they can only be purchased in person and am worried they will be sold out!

Anyway if anyone can assist me I'd really appreciate it. I am happy to contribute to any costs etc.

I'm staying in central Boston.

Hopefully someone can help.

Don't worry- there is a very low probability that the train tickets this individual is seeking would be sold out- he will be taking the purple line (commuter rail) from South Station in Boston all the way to Foxboro, and there should be several trains that go directly to the stadium on game day if I'm not wrong. He can call the MBTA once he gets here, the number is (617)222-3200.

This is, I think, a better solution than driving or getting a ride to the stadium unless he is going to go with someone who has been to the stadium and knows the in and outs of parking on gamedays, in which case one of the many posters on this board who do so, may be able to help out.

This. take the train. There are lots of tickets available to the buff game on ticket exchange. Don't think it will be sold out

Thanks for all the help and advice so far. If I don't have any luck with a ride out to the game it looks like the train is definitely the way to go!

MBTA > Riding the T > Patriots

The train leaves (once) at 11 AM from South Station and arrives in Foxboro at 12:05 PM. The train leaves (once) 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game, which means you'll have to hurry.

You could also look into:

Renaissance Boston Hotel & Spa at Patriot Place by Marriott | Foxborough MA Hotel | Distinctive and Stylish accommodations in between Providence and Boston

(If you've got that kind of dough).

Thanks for this. Already have a ticket to the game! Just hoping to experience the atmosphere before the game (and a ride out there). Otherwise the train should be good!

Sorry to post in this thread, but if anyone has 4 extra Buffalo vs NE tickets for sale, Id like to speak with you.

3 of us are life long Pats fans born in NE who have never attended a game at the new stadium.
