Telling NY and the Jets to fock off! and then going to their rivals and becoming wildly successful! Remember when he was their's and they thought they pulled such a fast one on Kraft, that it was a confirmation of their superioirity in every aspect of life! To have the opposite happen coupled with success beyond their dreams is more than NY can handle. They don't even have the Yankees to fall back on now!

How did BB end up paying?

Seems to me he left NYC with about a million dollars of some old mans money.

He's paying for it with this ridiculous inquisition. And I love the million dollar thing always brought up, the Jets used BB and paid for it. The charade they pulled by making him coach for a day with Parcells as advisor was what that was all about.

No, the sin he's paying for is not being Herm Edwards or Jack Del-Rio or Tony Dungy or any other coach that puckers up and kisses the media's butt. They've had an agenda against him for years and are now grasping at straws to try to bring him down. They're pissed that a walk-thru tape never existed and are doing everything in their power not to backtrack. I don't blame the Jets or the NY media for any of this. I do, however, blame the Jets for the holocaust.

Pretty interesting how the whole thing went down. BB was not happy about being a HC under Parcels thumb, even though Parcels was his mentor.

At any rate things worked out good for BB and the Pats, not so great for the Jets.

I think there could be something to the NY Media's hatred of BB because of the way the Jets deal went down. He was the "heir apparent" and he walked out on them to take the NE job. I don't blame him, the Jets are the armpit of the league.
