Default Junior Seau

What's the group's opinion on whether Junior will be back this season? And what's the timetable?

Personally I hope he comes back. I still think he can play as a part-time guy. But of course if he chose to come back before the draft, that wouldn't at all alter the fact that a young ILB prospect (or two) is needed.

I believe that he will come back for one more try. He is in amazing shape, and they would love to have him back. It's makes all the sense in the world. I just hope Junior wants to play one more year.

he should come back, and will have a similar role as with bruschi....we just cant have them BOTH in the game, at the same TIME....otherwise we are allright

anyways, can you imagine a rookie being groomed by bruschi and seau?

My opinion is no one knows. Not Seau and not the Patriots.

I imangine both would be happy to reunite.

But the guy will be 39 and he is having surgery. Will he have the desire to bounce back from the injury and will he physically be able to do it fast enough.

I don't doubt he wants to play for this team on sundays but does he want to go thru all the work and rehab.

I don't doubt the Pats would want a healthy seau back...but will he be helathy enough soon enough to be able to out weigh other optioms (which at this time seem limited).

I was unaware he was having surgery. What part of his body is being operated on?

Shoulder....Story broke a few weeks ago that he had a seperated shoulder almost all season (week 4 I think). He had the surgery and rumors were he may not be healthy until late june early july.

Thanks. If he plays I hope he doesn't stay home in San Diego, which I believe was mentioned as a possibility, if a remote one, after the season ended.

IMO if he plays it will be here.

I think he really loves it here plus I don't think San Diego has any real intrest...they didn't last year.

If I remember correctly he has already had the surgery. So now it's a wait and see kinda thing. I don't have a link, but perhaps someone else remembers reading (or hearing this) as well. Might have been on PFW.
