Thumbs up Sammy Morris is ready to get back to work

http://www.boston.com/sports/footbal..._after_injury/

Sammy talks about how he's feeling and his progress. He sounds like he's ready to get back to work. Which is good news, IMO.

The offseason workout program started yesterday. I forgot about that.

Sammy's a beast. He was missed last year, put to much running/blocking load on KF, can't wait to see him line up again this season.

I LOVED watching him play in that first game last year!!!

I think our RB`s have developed alot last year. Maroney`s finished strong and kyle moved from the pratice squad and actually carried the ball well. People forget morris was on his first year too.

so we got 2 second year guys in the system morris and kyle and a vastly improved maroney. so i am confident they will hold the fort down.

I agree, I think that Corey did a lot to help Maroney along in 2006 and although it may have taken a little time for LM to come along last year, I think that he made HUGE strides by the season end.

Can't wait to see what they will do this year. I love to see Morris hit the gap and then JUMP up and run out after he's been tackled.

I feel VERY good about our running game.

Great news! I wonder if Moss/Brady would have still gotten the records if he had stayed healthy. He was a steamroller and once he went down, they seem to pass more. Anyhow, glad to see him healthy again.

IMO - Yes, and in fact they might have tacked on a few more TD's because of the 3rd Down conversions that Sammy would have contributed. Not saying that there were a lot of those, but I know Sammy would have been a factor in those downs.

Yeah . . . Imagine teams having to defend 3rd-and-2 with Moss, Morris, and Welker on the field.
