Look. If we sign Moss to a reasonable contract, great. If we give him $9+ million a year, that would be stupid. Really. It is agonizing waiting for news on him but let's look at the situation without our homer glasses on. I hope he comes back, but if he doesn't the New England Patriots will move forward.
Randy Moss is at this point in his career (in my opinion) where he should not get $9 million a year. Let's reflect back to the playoffs and the games where the opposing team did all they could to eliminate him. How did he do? Not well. In the playoffs, by design or not he was missing. The team did not steamroll through the playoffs and in fact struggled. How is that? Offensively the line broke down but Randy Moss was invisible. Nowhere to be seen.
He had a tremendous year. But, the teams that certainly focused on taking him out of the game, did. What makes any of you think they will not do that again? I am sure the front office does not want to pay for a $9 million decoy. At this point, I tell him to pound sand, thanks for your service. Move on. Trade for a receiver, draft another one and use the money elsewhere.

Excellent post. DEFENSE is what we need to get back to.

How many teams accomplished that? Where did the 18 wins come from?

Because only one team managed to do that *AND* beat the Patriots!!!

You are obviously very young, do not know much about Pro Football, and are probably a lost cause.

Wow. You are one intelligent person. You formed a strong argument. Must be a member of the debate team at your middle school, Einstein.
Typical. Nothing to say but criticize someone's opinion by calling them stupid, not a true fan, young and the best one of all...knowing nothing about football. Great. You are a true boob.
