Default Start fixing the Defense

Im not worried bout our offense cause I believe there no way in hell Moss goes to another team, but for gods sake lets start bringing in some players on D that could have an impact. Webster out of Buffalo is no better then a thrid or fourth corner, how bout bringin in Pace for a visit somebody to get excited about and could actually help out alot, what happened to the supposed Lito trade? I heard about it one time and absolutely nothing since, im starting to wonder if they were even true or maybe they did and the Pats werent serious bout him.

Bottom line is they cant rely on just the draft to fix holes in the middle and back-end of the defense...theres too many holes to fill, we have to add atleast one impact player to this D before the draft or I have a feeling were gonna suffer throughout the season.

Pace reportedly wants a 5 year 32 million dollar deal. So I don't think we'll go down that road. The whole big holes are ILB and CB. If we sign Webster that takes care of CB debth a tiny bit.

I think we should look at Hobson to help rectify the ILB spot.

But that still wouldn't be enough to fix the D unless one of the younger LBs from last year(Pierre Woods) takes on a larger role or they feel comfortable with him getting more time.

I doubt we'll see the same sort of activity as last offseason in regard to big names.

I know for a fact were not going to sign FA's like we did last year, we needed a whole new receiving core and then some but we took care of the problem perfectly. This year all we need is a nice corner to (Lito hopefully) help with the loss of Asante or a OLB (Pace?) to help with the loss of Colvin and to add some much needed overall speed tp the LB position.. then either use the high pick on a DB or LB in the draft then go whip some ass...

Boss Baily and or Victor Hobson,Drayton Florence, Ty Law, and a trade for Lito Shepard, would make a good start before the draft..

I doubt Shepard would be delt before the draft...

Just resign Moss and Gaffney on O and will be happy, or the slim chance of a return for Donte Stallworth..

I do think we need a good corner, and I agree that it's hopefully Lito. Though as another poster suggested... Lito probably won't go for a while.

There's one thing about this offseason so far. It's kind of exciting in a scary kind of way. What will this team look like? Will Moss resign? Won't he? What we gonna do with the D? In the draft? Fun times.
