Hypothetically, if Walsh is legit, and he has a recorded conversation and video to back up his claims (a distinct possibility), what is the aftermath?

I would suspect BB may be suspended for 1-2 years.

It wouldn't have been real good anyway but now that Belichick has issued such a strong denial, if a tape exists and it's shown that Belichick knew about it then he would be suspended, if for no other reason than flat out lying about it. There would come a time, though, where I think Belichick would retire and write a book. He'll take some shots over Spygate - he already has - but there will come a time where he won't go down alone.

Pioli said that is why they fired Matt Walsh.

The OP is speculating that if Matt Walsh was fired for recording conversations it is possible he recorded a conversation of BB telling him to Tape. Not to crazy except it most likely never happened.

Okay. He doesn't need to be an idiot for starting the thread, and you don't need to be an azzwipe.

I second the proposal however. There's a great deal going on in the offseason, and there always is. Spygate is part of it, but each new "what if" speculation really isn't a new topic, whether it's a media "what if" or a poster's "what if."

Come on now. How are these really separate topics?

aftermath.? You don't want to know but i'm going to tell you a few things if NFL and Patriots don't shut this down as soon as they can.

1- Patriots is going to pay a lot of money for lawsuit AND its reputation will be ruined.
2-BB will be suspensed.
3-02 SB ring will be taken back.
4-Congressional investigation into NFL.

NFL and Patriots will be finished at this point.
