Default Back again with perspective..

Took almost a weak off, to collect and decompose for a bit.. But came back, because I love the Pats.. With that being said, Im still hurt over the loss, its a loss as a fan I will never get over.. The Colts game, I was over by the super bowl.. But this game is probably the worst in Pats history... This yr was ment to win the super bowl, nothing else was going to be acceptable.. All the records, the perfect season was nice, but it means nothing if we didnt win the ring.. So this yr is over, and it was not a succseful season.. Why?? Because Brady and Belichcik did not come thru like they have in the past.. It was a game they were outplayed and outcoached.. No excuse's , no bad calls, no time clock malfunctions.. We lost period.. I watched the game once, and that is all I will ever watch it.. Next week is the combine, and franchise tag news, then FA, and Draft, and so on and so forth..

My big concern as a fan, is not spygate, or assante, or moss.. Its will Belichick and Brady suffer Super hangovers, and how long will it last??? That is the big question all offseason and wont be awnsered till hopefully in Tampa next yr..

Until then its what if's and butt's .. We had a nice seaoson, but each season is different ,and this season was about the rings, which the Giants will have and we dont.. 2008 cant get here soon enough..

decompose for a bit...?

uh...that sounds pretty rotten...you still alive?

as far as the real issue going into next season...the real issue is the wholesale attack on the Patriot franchise by the outside media and the blatant attempt to deconstruct what this franchise has been able to build this decade.

I think Brady is way over it. You will see him in NYC hanging with Gisele. One thing that people have come to find out is that he IS flappable. Remember when announcers would talk about 'ice in his veins'...well, he is cool and collected as long as the team is moving the ball and the drive is alive. I saw a frustrated side to him (screaming at Wes, hunched shoulders, etc) that makes him quite human. Still the best ever, though...and that helps me believe we have 1 or 2 more 'ships left.

As for BB, I don't think we ever have to worry. He outworks everybody and I don't suspect he will be down for too long.

I can't wait for next season.

And by the way...I am STILL not over the Indy loss. THAT one we really let slip away. The Superbowl was a collection of bad breaks in an otherwise evenly played game.

Hey, remember this much man - our 21-3 blown lead hangover was...a 18 game winning streak.

Time to reload and just come back stronger then ever.

I just hope we don't have to hear the undefeated perfect season next year. I like to fly under the radar and emerge come playoff time.

Fly under the radar (with home field advantage, of course).

I hope we go undefeated again in the regular season heading into the playoffs. How many games do you want us to lose?

lose one game in the first four week and then run the table.

They'll get over the loss quickly, and they'll realize that next year's team won't be as good as this one, but they'll look at it as a challenge. Renewal. Less pressure. More enjoyment maybe?

“My favorite ring? I've always said, you know, I always said the next one. The next one is the best,” Brady says.
