Default best drive ever?

I hate to have to think this...but that drive by eli could have been the best ever. it will be talked about on sports show for the next 30 years. 83 yards late in the game, that crazy 3rd down play, getting a touchdown in the super bowl against an unbeaten team.

I think it's the best super bowl drive ever, yes. It replaces the Montana 49ers drive to beat Cincinatti. Both were great drives. Both took a team from losing the super bowl to winning it with less than one minute remaining.

I think that the Giants' drive is better for two reasons. First, they had less time to do it -- about a minute less. Second, they were down by 4 not 3. So, they needed a TD. Once the 49ers got in field goal range, the only real question was whether they would win or tie. The Giants needed the TD or they would lose.

I would not classify it as great...it was a game winning drive in the Super Bowl. Not great because it should have never happened...especially the prayer that Eli threw up...the almost INTs by Harrison and Samuel...

No. You could make an argument that Eli could have gotten intercepted 4 times on that drive: twice by Harrison, once by Samuel, and if the "great escape" pass to Tynes had been tipped. Eli made 2 AMAZING plays but the drive itself was not mythological. Effective? yes. GREAT? nope.

the big play to Tyree was desperation..should never had been thrown..Eli also had 3 more throws that could have been picked..the outcome was great for the Giants, but there were a lot of errors by Eli in that drive. For that reason, I can't call it the greatest SB drive.

The Giant's last drive is certainly one to be considered one of the best of Super Bowl history, especially when one considers he breaks loose from a certain sack and throws the ball to a Special teamer and 5th string WR that makes a catch which rivals any in Super Bowl history. This completes a comeback win for the 4th year QB of the Giants. This will as famous and remembered as any in NFL history as the drive that spoiled a perfect season.

good comparison, and montana also threw an almost int on that drive as well, a ball that a bengal dropped, it was right in his hands too
