Our team hasn't looked good in the Championship area lately either.

We need to face it, the Patriots have folded like a tent come playoff time the last two seasons. If ever a team wasn't going to blow it and, dare I say, choke in the playoffs, it was going to be last year's 14-2 team. There's no way that team should have lost to the NYJ at home in the playoffs. That's what I and 99.99999% of everyone on this board thought. I'm left thinking if a 14-2, pretty dominant team quarterbacked by a league MVP can't win a home playoff game against the #6 seeded team, than what Patriots team can win in the playoffs?
If you're talking about "IT", the Patriots haven't done "IT" since the 2004 season, and since the 2004 seasons Brady is a very average 5-5 in the playoffs...
I dont have to face any thing..F the jets..I dont care if they win 50 playoff games, they still F'n suck

In fairness to Rex Ryan, it was Bart Scott who compared the Jets to the Heat. There is a lot of chest thumping and hot air coming from that organization, I can understand why people have trouble remember with obnoxious quote goes with which Jets blowhard.

Really, you you constant instant gratification driven what have you done for me lately pseudo fans need to face is how pathetic you sound. At least this organization and this HC and QB combo have done IT three times in a decade during which they've never fallen out of contention - which is more than any of their highly touted and seemingly envied peers can come close to claiming. But somehow it's never good enough or recent enough in whatever twisted comparisons their frustrated resident critics choose to engage.

You should all abandon the closet you uncomfortably occupy in the far reaches of patsfandom and just come out as JETS fans (or better yet post seasonal front running bandwagon fans of whomever wins it all every given year).

the law of averages caught up w/ TFB and the PATS. Do you expect them to win it every year w/ no hardships??? Last season was suppose to be borderline ugly; we go 14-2 w/ a TOUGH schedule. Scr3wed in 2006 of a SB b/c of a PHANTOM PI... we lost 2007. Our season ended when Spikes came back out of shape and our defense depth chart dwindled to to injury ie- Brace, Wright etc. We all forget about Hernandez and how he technically should have been IRd w/ that hip injury and barely played, when he did play it was not his level of capability. We are a YOUNG Team and we were NOT DEEP in the depth chart to salvage any playoff run when a major injury is sustained.

Does anyone have a link to the SOS the teams have this season....Pats had one of the tougher schedules last season as you mentioned....

Found it : http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/po...th-of-schedule

Easier schedule this year with last years rookies having a year's worth of experience and with Warren, Wright and Bodden back healthy (hopefully) should mean another run for the AFCE and a shopt at another SB....

Going to be fun watching Vereen and
Ridley to see what they contribute to the youth movement offense...

Watching BB retool this team on the fly without losing a beat is unbelievable...now see if the kids can finish the job and get to the dance...
