Default This week on Oprah

LOL OK guys, believe it or not you might be interested. Just wanted to pass this along.

I know this is a Pats fan board, but I also know, as football fans, we all wish nothing but the best for Kevin Everett.

On This Thursday's Oprah show:

After sustaining a life-threatening spinal cord injury during a tackle, doctors said NFL football star Kevin Everett would never walk again. Now, here for his first television interview since the injury, Everett does what no one ever thought would be possible. Then, Oprah talks to Denver Bronco Domenik Hixon, the player involved in the tackle that injured Kevin. And, the doctor who saved Kevin's life discusses his miraculous recovery. It's amazing medical miracles with Dr. Oz.

This part interests me the most. I always wonder what it's like for the player that causes an accidental injury like this. I couldn't imagine accidentally killing or almost killing somebody in a football game. I know it's part of the game but I would feel terrible

Thanks...I usually do NOT watch Oprah and would have missed this show...I think it's all very interesting, especially the treatment..as THAT may in some way be a large breakthrough for many.
Thanks for letting us know about it...
