Default Anyone going to sendoff tomorrow?

It could be fun.

As expected, the Patriots will have a sendoff before the team departs for Arizona and Super Bowl XLII. Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick invites all fans to participate Sunday at 10 a.m. at Gillette Stadium, where parking will be free. Gates will open at 9 a.m., but tailgating will not be allowed.

No tailgating kind of sucks....I wonder how they define 'tailgate.'

The difference is that Brady calmly calls audibles while Manning flaps like a chicken, barks 11 code words, and makes sure every camera in the stadium has documented his once-in-a-generation (and patented, I believe) ability to see a defensive formation and change the play. Both have the same effect, but Manning transcends measurable human intellect while Brady merely chooses a different play.

I think we should all go. It's in the stadium.

If you want to drink some beers in the parking lot and be discrete about it, nobody will say anything to you. But you will also be drinking at 10 in the morning on a non-gameday so you might have issues if you do that to begin with.

I might go. How often do you get to see Deval Patrick.

Yes, it seems a very family friendly thing, good for the kids to remember.

Has anyone ever noted the similarity between "Deval" and "devalue"?

Mumbles Menino was at the SB39 rally. So I'm sure you can see him and the other hacks there on Sunday. $10 says that you will hear the words "rolling rally" tomorrow.

Thumbs up Re: Anyone going to sendoff tomorrow?

Just as long as he says "Papelbom on the jumbletrom" I'll be happy. Maybe he'll talk abought Teddy Brusshy, Wes Walker, or Assante Samuels on the jumbletrom.
