....but I've been hearing around my shop here that Randy Moss is being charged with assaulting his girlfriend in Florida. They are talking like Randy beat her.
I tried to explain the "serious injury" is just to the woman's finger.
I have been unable to find a link regarding the nature of the injury and if anybody can help me with a link it would be appreciated.
So I can shut these guys up.

Can you ask the voices "around your shop" about their sources of this new information?

To be clear, this is in addition to the restraining order from last week, right? Like the police are filing these charges against Randy Moss because they believe there is sufficient evidence, right?

The media isn't helping the situation. They keep on using word like "charges" of abuse and so on, all of which leaves the casual fan with the impression that there was some criminal act alleged to have happened, which of course there is not.

They're getting their info from the msm. They seem to be vague as to the nature of the "serious injury".

That "Jaw breaking" thing is one of the most misleading pieces of, ahem, "journalism" I have ever read. If I knew nothing about it and I read that, I would go from, "What happened to Randy Moss?" to "That piece of garbage should be locked up, he broke a woman's jaw!" And you KNOW that was the intent of the author, to make him look guilty.
