Default New Statistical Analysis

Since this was a bye week, I had some time on my hands, so I was poking around the official team stats for the Pats, and found a couple of interesting stats about some players that I hadn't seen anywhere else, so I though I would share them with you. I don't claim to be as thorough or knowledgeable as some other posters in here, so feel free to fact-check this but:

In games where Welker has more than 50 yds receiving in a game, the Pats are 10-0. When he has less than 50 yds in a game, they are only 5-0.

In games where Rodney Harrison played, the Pats are 12-0. Kind of shows you his value, eh? Likewise, when Seymour started a game, the Pats were 8-0, but when he didn't start, they were 8-0. Go figure.

When Kelly Washington blocks a put, the Pats have yet to lose.

Heath Evans has 2 or more carries in eight games this season, and each time the Pats have won.

When Vrabel has at least one sack and 5 or more tackles (solo and asstd combined) the Pats are 5-0. In games where he has a sack, without reference to tackles, the team is 7-0 (8-0 including preseason ). But, and here is where it gets confusing for me a bit, in games where Vrabel doesn't have a sack, they are undefeated.

Crazy, huh?

Here's my 5 second statistical analysis... in games with Wes Welker dressed, they are 16-0.

The Patriots are undefeated when leading after four quarters of play.

This is exactly the type of in-depth, outside the box, statistical analysis PatsFans.com members want to see. This was far better than any stat geek/fantasy analysis I've ever seen!

Awesome job! thanks for the hours you put in to share this with us Tucker! you're a good man!
